Why a Charter Matters
Every Scouts BSA troop is sponsored by a chartered organization that shares Scouting’s commitment to young people. Troop 87 is proudly chartered by the Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi, whose support makes our program possible.
About the Club
The Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi is a welcoming group of professionals, business owners, educators, retirees and community volunteers committed to making a positive difference on the Southside and throughout Corpus Christi. Since 1955 the club has built friendships, developed leaders and served the community.
Signature initiatives include Ramp Builds, Hometown Hero and Flags Across Southside.

Lunch meetings
First, second and third Wednesdays
12:00–1:00 PM at Corpus Christi Country Club
Fourth Wednesday — a visit to a local business, nonprofit or community organization.
Fifth Wednesday — no meeting.
Guests are always welcome — RSVP through the club’s website.
