Why a Charter Matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every Scouts BSA troop is sponsored by a chartered organization that shares Scouting\u2019s commitment to young people. Troop 87 is proudly chartered by the Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi<\/strong>, whose support makes our program possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Club<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi is a welcoming group of professionals, business owners, educators, retirees and community volunteers committed to making a positive difference on the Southside and throughout Corpus Christi. Since 1955 the club has built friendships, developed leaders and served the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Signature initiatives include Ramp Builds<\/strong>, Hometown Hero<\/strong> and Flags Across Southside<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fourth Wednesday<\/strong> \u2014 a visit to a local business, nonprofit or community organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fifth Wednesday<\/strong> \u2014 no meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests are always welcome \u2014 RSVP through the club\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
